So I am finally getting to the afghan I promised my husband before this second deployment (he's back, short deployment). I promised him this back in June. Well I am using hairpin lace to do this. I am about to join two strips when I realize this will be nearly impossible. See I was reading how to do hairpin lace wrong and going through the back instead of the front (when I took it off the pins/poles it was a huge curly mess) so after doing what should have been 4 strips by now I am now just finishing up the second strip again. I am hoping joining goes much smoother tomorrow.
