Help! I don't want to crochet!

I too have a very hard time finishing big projects. Currently I'm working on an afghan of the American Flag which is over 6 ft long. It's done with a G hook and DC all the way through, but it takes a very very long time so I switch between that and a different afghan I'm working on so that I don't get too bored. Otherwise I would never finish it!
