Very nice! It's funny....I too made this, but never finished the brim (I just didn't like the way it was turning out) And my son bought a hat at a department store, and it's the SAME HAT! Same stitch count, pattern, everything! So I showed him the one I made, now he wants me to finish the brim so he can have it. But I thought it was odd that he purchased his at the mall (like I said, it is the EXACT same in pattern and stitch count:think)

Yours looks very nice, did you shorten the brim?

for the brim I haven't use the original pattern because I don't like it very much.

so, I have made the next round of crown whit single crochet, then I have work:

rnd 1 : *1 sc , 2 sc in the same stitch * so on for 20 stich, turn

rnd 2 : 2 sl st , 2 sc , 2 hdc , 18 dc , 2 hdc , 2 sc, 2 sl sc., turn

rnd 3 : 30 sc

I hope is understandable, my english is not perfect
