Don't Fear the Front/Back Post Doubles

I love this stitch. I read some thread earlier today and someone mentioned not being able to get it. Once you do, look at the fun you can have.

One was a special order and the others were just for the fun of making hats!

Not so crazy about the brim on the solid pink one, but the others turned out ok. I designed the hat and used a brim pattern from GET YOUR CROCHET ON by Afya Ibomu.

Your hats are lovely. Often multicoloured yarns don't look good in textured stitches, or more the other way, the textured stitches get lost in the colours. But yours look great! Which yarns did you use?

Oh, and I agree with you TOTALLY. The fp and bp stitches aren't scary, especially if you follow picture directions. So useful for ribbing work and they make such cool patterns don't they?

I love this yarn is what I used on all of them. Thanks for the kudos. I did an afghan from Quick Crochet. It has different patterns using the front/back post stitches. I love it. Those post stitches really thicken up your finished piece!
