Question
Stephanie
I am making a Kleenex box cover using this pattern. http://www.angelfire.com/tx5/angelcrafts/kleenexcover.html
I've finished the top and am now doing the sides. My problem is with the starting stitch. This corner ends up with both a hole and too much fabric. The other corners are fine. Am I misinterpreting the instructions?
Row 14 is fine.
Row 15, where I do the c3 is where my problem is. Do I make a dec stitch using the last hdc and the top of the c3? That draws in the fabric, but I end up with a good-sized hole. If I do the dec stitch on the last 2 hdc, I end up with way more fabric.
Ultimately, a ruffle goes around the top. Does this just hide it?
Thanks,
Stephanie
