Sore Fingers

Does anyone use anything and if so, what for any of their fingers. I crocheted:crocheting alot yesterday trying to get a gift done and a spot on my thumb and middle finger are getting sore.

i get sore spots on my fingers as well, and i just go off to the local farm and ranch store and get a tin of bag balm. it works wonderfully, and it doesn't smell that bad either.

I've had the same problem, but now I'll have to try that bagbalm tip.

Friday I bought a pair of the ergonomic gloves at a craft store, tried them out and like them a lot. Your fingers are free, but it covers the first knuckles so therefore it helps keep my fingers from getting sore.

My problem is in the hands, not necessarily the fingers, so these help me a lot. But I found that if I only wear one on the right hand, I have better luck, because that is the hand that has the most movement. If I wear it on the left, my yarn doesn't 'flow' as easily. Sometimes I just have to take a break for a day or so and let my hands rest.
