Question
thecatlady
I know this says chain stitch 2, then do 5 single crochets in the first chain stitch, which will result in 5 stitches. However...I can't get 5 stitches into just that first change. It looks like a tangled web when it's supposed to be the beginning of a ball (an eyeball, to be exact). Is that how it's supposed to look, and is it possible to make 5 single crochets in just that first chain? I've been making 2 chain stitches, then trying to make the 5 single crochets by inserting my hook into just that first chain but it all gets pretty jumbled as the single crochets go on... any advice on if this is possible and how exactly to do this would be greatly appreciated.
