Please help me with this pattern

I'm having trouble making the muzzle. I've made all the other parts of the dragon, but I can't make sense of this muzzle. If anyone could please help me I'd really appreciate it. Wow, I've never seen a pattern like that... I'm assuming since you've made the other parts you understand the terminology used.

 

Can you tell us exactly what part of the muzzle you are having difficulty with? And keep in mind, they muzzle is not started with an adjustable loop, it's started with a chain 4, you work the first half of the round normally, then for the second half you work into the opposite side of the starting chain.
