Learn Australian designer Jenny King’s new and revolutionary Get Squared™ technique for making stress-free, problem-free, high-fashion crochet garments. In this class, you will be converting the simplest of crochet stitches into a seamless top that is guaranteed to fit you perfectly, flatter your figure, and reveal your fabulous personality. Get Squared™ uses a deceptively simple formula to allow you to make all manner of shaped garments. Learn all the techniques you need without reading one pattern. Both the beginner and experienced crocheter will enjoy learning the skills and techniques found in this class.
During Part 1 of class, you will complete a teddy bear-sized pullover sweater that will teach you all the basic Get Squared™ techniques required to complete a full-size garment. You will also get to see and try on a variety of full-size sample garments.
During Part 2 of class, you may continue to try on garments and will begin work on the garment of your choice: pullover sweater, cardigan, V-neck cardigan, extended-front cardigan, or shrug.
During the lunch break, instructor will be happy to help students pick out a suitable yarn on the show floor.

Festival Information
The Festival is in Dickson, Tennessee on May 26th and 27th, 2017. Friday will be 12-6 and Saturday 9-5 at the Dickson County Fairgrounds. The physical address of the Fairgrounds is 1035 TN-47 Dickson, TN 37055 TN-47 Dickson, TN 37055.
Dickson is located just an hour West of Nashville, just 5 miles off of I-40 exit 172. There are several new hotels/motels at that exit from the major chains; Fairfield Inn & Suites (Brand new), Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, Best Western, etc., along with restaurants like Applebee’s, Logan’s, O’Charlie’s and Cracker Barrel close to the interstate.
We are also close to beautiful Montgomery Bell State Park which features campgrounds, hiking trails, and recreation for the whole family.
