Roses for the Teacher(s)

My sons wanted to give their teachers flowers for Teacher Appreciation week, so I used this pattern and attached pin backs to them after adding the calyx.

 

I used a variety of scrap yarns for them in RHSS, the light pink was made with white and a strand of baby yarn in pink held together as a single thread.

Beautiful roses. What a thoughtful idea also. Rather than give "real" flowers which would fade and die, you made/crocheted some roses for your sons to give to their teachers. What a lasting memory this will be for the teachers. The mother of their students took time to make something just for them. In the coming years these teachers will always remember your sons and you for your thoughtfulness.
