Canary bird

Good afternoon everyone!

 

I am looking for a canary bird pattern. Or, a pattern that looks something like it. It does not have to be exact.

 

My mom luvs these birds. I would like to crochet a bunch for her and then crochet a nest.

Here is a pattern I used recently and really liked

and here are my birds. I used RedHeart Super Saver. the beaks and feet (added to make them stand up better) are crochet thread, and I "winged it" for those parts. the shaping of the body is really nice, and the tail is made in one piece with the main body. i thought it was a fun pattern.
