Finished crocheting the shawl and cloche of the "put a cookie" on it ensemble. Now to put those cookies on!

Would love to be able to put the brakes on time so I could enjoy a long langorous summer. Looks like this one will be zipping right by, but at least I had some crochet fun on my recent road trip.

I really need to get this project done. My friend's sister is not doing as well with her cancer treatments as I had hoped she would, and I want her to be able to use the "Put a cookie on it" chemo cloche and prayer shawl. Here is my blog post about these efforts.

Hot time in the old town

A week that was equal parts crazy and incredible. I picked up my Google Glass on Friday and am looking forward to making better, easier to follow crochet videos so anyone can pursue and realize their crochet dreams. Here is my blog post about this adventure.

In between my travels and home repairs, I managed to make a few more hats for my friend's sister. As much as I wish my friend's sister didn't need them, chemo caps are a very portable project.

I started work on another chemo cap, this time with KnitPicks Comfy™ worsted and Michele Maks Granny Hat pattern.

I had the luxury of a productive weekend and managed to complete one chemo cap entirely, get a good start on another, and wind the yarn for a third hat into a ball  of yarn I can use.

All of the chemo caps I am going to make for awhile are done: ends woven in and trimmed, all hats packed up in a box and sent. Here is a blog post about finishing these projects.

My blog is back up, and I cannot thank the people at Blue Host who had to work through what was my Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning to get it done. What I did (in the meantime) was to try to bring order to my vast empire of fiber, and I unearthed thi long forgotten lovely little crochet treasure.
