Size:5” tall (without ears)

Materials:

e Bernat Soft Bouclé: color Pink – 88 g.

e DMC Floss - # 317 Dark Gray

e Crochet Hook - G

e Row Markers

e 6 mm Black Beads - 2

e Tapestry Needle (steel)

e Stuffing

 

Body:

Row 1: With Pink make a magic loop, sc 6.

Row 2: 2 sc (inc) in each st. (12 sts)

Row 3: [2 sc (inc), sc] 6 times. (18 sts)

Row 4: [2 sc (inc), sc 2] 6 times. (24 sts)

Row 5: [2 sc (inc), sc 3] 6 times. (30 sts)

Row 6: [2 sc (inc), sc 4] 6 times. (36 sts)

Row 7: 2 sc (inc), 8 times, sc 28. (44 sts)

Row 8 – 16: Work even. (44 sts)

Row 17: [sc 2 tog, sc] 8 times, sc 20. (36 sts)

Row 18: Work even. (36 sts)

Row 19: [sc 2 tog, sc 4] 6 times. (30 sts)

Row 20: Work even. (30 sts)

Row 21: [sc 2 tog, sc 3] 6 times. (24 sts)

Row 22: Work even. (24 sts)

Row 23: [sc 2 tog, sc 2] 6 times. (18 sts)

Row 24: Work even. (18 sts)

Row 25: [sc 2 tog, sc] 6 times. (12 sts)

Row 26: Work even. (12 sts)

Fill Honey with stuffing almost all the way full.

Row 27: sc 2 tog, 6 times.

Finish off with a 6” tail. Finish stuffing Honey.

With tail gather around last row of stitches and draw closed. Finish off, weave in tail.

 

Tail:

Row 1: With Pink make a magic loop, sc 6.

Row 2: 2 sc (inc), in each st. (12 sts)

Row 3: Work even

Row 4: [sc 2 tog] 6 times. (6 sts)

Finish off with a 8” tail, fill with stuffing.

Pin in position on the body and sew, finish off, weave in tail.

Arms:(make 2)

Row 1: With Pink make a magic loop, sc 6.

Row 2: [2 sc (inc), sc] 3 times. (9 sts)

Row 3 - 4: Work even. (9 sts)

Row 5: [sc 2 tog, sc] 3 times. (6 sts)

Row 6 – 7: Work even. (6 sts)

Finish off with a 8” tail for sewing arm to the body.

Fill arm with stuffing. With tail gather around last row of stitches and draw closed.

Pin in position on the body and sew, finish off, weave in tail.

 

Feet:(make 2)

Row 1: With Pink make a magic loop, sc 6.

Row 2: 2 sc (inc), in each st. (12 sts)

Row 3: [2 sc (inc), sc] 6 times. (18 sts)

Row 4 - 7: Work even. (18 sts)

Row 8: [sc 2 tog, sc] 6 times. (12 sts)

Finish off with a 8” tail for sewing feet to the body.

Fill feet with stuffing. With tail gather around last row of stitches and draw closed.

Row 1: With Pink make a magic loop, sc 4.

Row 2: [2 sc (inc), sc] 2 times. (6 sts)

Row 3: [2 sc (inc), sc 2] 2 times. (8 sts)

Row 4: [2 sc (inc), sc 3] 2 times. (10 sts)

Row 5: [2 sc (inc), sc 4] 2 times. (12 sts)

Row 6 – 11: Work even. (12 sts)

Row 12: [sc 2 tog] 6 times. (6 sts)

Finish off with a 8” tail for sewing ears to the body.

Pinch base of ear together and sew, position ear on body and sew, finish off, weave in tail.

 

Sew nose and eyes (6mm beads) on with DMC floss # 317.

I have to echo everyone else - **** that's cute! I've got 3 bears on the go but they're going on hold. I've got a new cousin coming for her first visit next weekend and I'm pretty sure she 'needs' one of these!

 

I really did follow the pattern! - I think my tenison may be a bit loose<lol> , but the bunny is beautifully soft and easily grasped by little hands.

 

 

January 2011 - saw the bunny in it's forever home. It has survived numerous cycles of the washing machine and is holding up well!

Your pattern is adorable! I started one last night, and finished this morning. I could definitely use more practice with sewing on noses neatly. But it's not too bad. I noticed how cute he looked without his arms and legs, and I haven't decided if I'll add them yet. Here's a picture. :) Thanks for the fun pattern!!
