Mr Swirly Baby Blanket

I made this for a charity craft fair at my work that I was going to take part in. As it turns out, I won't be able to after all. So...I have a random baby blanket laying around! No motivation left to weave in the ends, but otherwise it's all done! The links below the images go to very large versions of the pictures, as I couldn't figure out how to make them clickable.

I made it with motif #109 from the book"Beyond the Square Crochet Motifs" by Edie Eckman, and just arranged them in a pattern I liked.

Very pretty blanket!!! Just keep it in your closet and the next time someone needs one all you have to do is weave in the ends, and you are good to go. Sometimes it is good to have a completed project "waiting". Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'll definitely have it stashed away for the next time someone has a baby. No one will know what to do with me if I'm actually prepared for something like that.

Know what you mean. I crochet baby dresses (originals) and always have grandsons (one grand daughter, almost 8 yrs. old), but there is something about baby girl dresses with me......*sigh*.....
