Two bookmarks: flowers and butterfly

I made the butterfly bookmark to give my daughter upon her college graduation (since butterflies signify new beginnings)...gonna put it in a copy of Dr. Seuss' "Oh, The Places You'll Go"---the Spanish version, since she is going to be a Spanish teacher! I used cupcake's pattern, which is available on her wonderful, interesting blog!

 

And I made the flower one just because I was "in between" doilies and needed to make SOMETHING. It was an Annie's Attic freebie a LONG time ago....I added the green edging, because I thought it needed something.

 

 

Closer look at the butterfly, since it didn't show up real well on that dark background:

Lovely. The green edging on the second one really does tie the whole thing together.
