Broomstick lace scarf (wip)

When I went to the hospital this week I found a solitary 20mm knitting needle for sale in the charity shop, it cost me 25p so what's a girl to do other than teach herself Broomstick lace? My first attempt in dark brown worsted weight looked awful but my second piece using this gorgeous magenta double knit looked so much better that I decided to carry on and make a scarf I was too excited to wait until it's finished to show it off

Patty, no it's not actually difficult but I do find it slow going. I watched a video on Youtube & crocheted along with it, I got a bit tangled up on my first attempt though *lol*

Very pretty! I have a jacket I have yet to make using broomstick lace. I just love the look of it.
