pentagon motif

I'm looking for patterns for a pentagon motif. I really liked the idea of the floor pillow on the what not to crochet blog (it would be great in my classroom library) the pattern is no longer for sale. I think I can make it anyway if I can just find a 5 sided motif to make it with. I would greatly appreciate any help. TIA

I saw that, too!! And I have to say I love it! It's just too much fun...Anyway, CPC has a few (including a basic) 5 sided motifs. look under smaller motifs...I think I would use a 'solid' instead of regular type granny, maybe using puff stitch like in the photo, on every few rounds? Let me know what you come up with, OK? Good luck!

I'm thinking I'm going to use the pentagon bread cloth, it looked more solid, I may have to play with it and see what I come up with. I'll be sure to post pics when I get progress made.
