I made this for my Mum's birthday:

 

 

 

Sorry the pics are a bit dark! The pattern can be found here. It's a very well written pattern - nice and precise - a pleasure to work from. I used Anchor Artiste Size 10 Linen Thread and a 1.50mm hook.

Theresa - it was much easier than I was expecting - it looks complicated but its actually quite straightforward. This was my first time using thread and a small hook and if I can manage it anyone can!!!
