A Scarf for Charity

I have been doing a Crossed Double Crochet pattern. For 6' across, here is the pattern.

Not my pattern - don't know where I got it. I've made shawls by increasing.

Crossed dc's:

Skip next st, dc in following st, then go back and dc in skipped st.

Ch 21

Row 1: sc in ea. ch across, ch 1, turn [20 sc]

Row 2: sc in ea. sc across, ch 3, turn [20 sc]

Row 3: crossed dc's across to last st, dc in last st, ch 1, turn [20 dc: 9 crossed dc pairs, 2 regular dc's]

Row 4: sc in ea. dc across, ch 3, turn [20 sc]

Repeat rows 3 & 4 until close to 9", ending with row 3, then repeat row 4 twice. Finish off.
