I found this free pattern on Ravelry. It's by Sophia Kessinger. I love it, it worked up easily. It was quick to do too.

 

Here's my version of that wonderful pattern: SWIRLS CAP I used ILTY Dark Country Blue. It's for our youngest daughter. The only change that I made from the pattern is instead of using plastic canvas to stiffen the brim, I used fusible interfacing. That way there's no fear of washing and drying in the machines.

Good luck with it ... hope you'll post it when you're done! Here's a funny ... as I said this was made for our youngest 'thirty-something' daughter, well our oldest gran'daughter and her family were over today. I gave her little people the hat, scarf and mittens that I had made for them ... she says as she sees those, "Aw, I want one." Well then when she saw the one that I had made for her aunt ... it was, "I'd like mine in pink, please!"
