Musical Note Bookmark

I made this for a friend's B'day. It is made of wool though I don't know where to find crochet yarn from where I live. Poor me...

Sure it was simple really. I found a graph showing the musical note in Yahoo search.

 

 

Use 1 DC for each block. I chose a dark shade of Blue and Pale Yellow.

 

For the top portion I left empty meshes. Then decrease the mesh ony by one till you are left with only one.

 

Make a tassel.Then amke stiches as in the foundation chain( 3 or 4 according to your needed length)

 

Cord it through whatever you want. I used beads.Then using yarn needle sew in the left over thread.
