Are any of you participating in this is your area? My knit/crochet guild is doing this today. It should be fun!!! I'm working on a lavender and cream alternating V shell blanket for it.

Due to bad weather here in PA my chapter doesn't meet til the end of March, think I'll go crochet on a blue blanket I have going for Linus, got the pattern from here, sc and dc in one stitch. I like dooing the bigger blankets for the teens. Charlene

I am. Our chapter is having a gathering this afternoon but I won't be going. It's an hour drive and the weather is a cold, windy and nasty. I am sitting at home working on a peach and white blanket today.

I went; unfortunately none of the friends who committed to doing this with me showed up and most didn't bother to call me either:blush ; I could have saved the gas, stayed home, drank my coffee, listed to music and chilled lol. Still, it was very neat being amongst a large group of people with a common goal.

I went to mine. Dropped off 3 baby blankets. Posted some pics of them in the show and tell section a few days ago. What a great charity!

We had our "day" here in Tucson today. People brought over 100 blankets to the event. It was so wonderful sitting with my Mom crocheting our blankets, and picking up kits to make new ones.
