I have never used a graph, for anything, can you help, I viewed this and assuming it is only a measurement, yes or no. or is it actuall stiches (making gage) ? I have several orders for ponchos, and I have measured the ladies, some want shorter some longer, so I measure all over them, etc. This seems to work for me, but if there is a simpler way, I sure want to know about it.

I can tell you what I do to fit those "two rectangle type" ponchos. I have the wearer stand with hands on hips, and I measure from the collarbone to the elbow. That amount (in inches or cm or whatever) is the appropriate WIDTH of the rectangle. Double it for the appropriate LENGTH of the rectangle.

My 6 yo usually takes an 10 x 20 poncho. My 10 yo takes a 12 x 24 one. Adult size is usually 14 x 28. This seems to work even better if the stitch is a stretchy one. :))
