SC or DC Ripple...???

Okay, I am about ready to start my son's camouflage blanket, but I can't decide if I should do the ripples in single crochet or double crochet...

 

Which stitch would require the *least* amount of yarn to complete the project?

 

Which stitch do you personally think would produce the cuddliest blanket?

DC would probably use the least amount of yarn and be the cuddliest IMHO.

 

Also, it will work up much faster!

I always do my ripples with a DC. It works up fast and soft.
