My First Mitten!

I was very bored this evening and decided to try my hand at making a pair of mittens. I didn't think it'd be too painful and to my surprise, it wasn't! This is only one mitten, but I'm really excited that I not only finished it, but I designed it myself I didn't know what to put on the edge so I did 2 rounds of the simple shell stitching. I used a K hook so it worked up really fast, and I used just plain old Red Heart yarn, I hope you like it!

I like it! I've not made mittens, only fingerless gloves. I tried mittens, but had troubles. Maybe I'll try again.

Thanks for the compliments! I am working the last few things out on my pattern right now so hopefully I will have it ready soon:) I have never written a pattern before so I am somewhat self-conscious about it being easy to understand. I guess we will find out
