Crocheted Gloves

Just bought some yarn to make <a href="http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/gloves.html" target="_new">these gloves</a>.

 

Has anybody made them before? Is there anything I should watch out for?

I think those are the ones I tried, and they were to small.

It was awhile ago and the yarn I was using might have been a bit thick, but I think it was just to small.

my gracious - i can't even do a sock! the thought of a glove is just TOOO scary

These are the easiest pattern ever!!! I love this glove pattern, its the only one I use..

 

My advise is add 10 sts to each row (five on one end, five on the other) to make the glove a little longer on the wrist.)

those are my son's big hands modeling the gloves, so they look a little small on him.

What weight yarn did you use?

The yarn was some vintage chenille I picked up from a thrift store, it was a 3 ply.
