I've seen necklaces made from tiny felted balls for the beads. I couldn't find it now but it seems like something that would be easy to experiment with small amounts of wool. I don't know if the beads were hand felted or what.

I thank you for trying to help but what I am looking for is to crochet the bead and then string it on a line for the necklace. Is that clear as mud?

here is a pattern and u crochet over a wooden bead, i was planning on skipping the wooden bead and stuff it..see if this will help u out..HAPPY CROCHETING.
