Broomstick lace Scarf: Dreamweaver

The other night I was dreaming about doing something with broomstick lace. I could see in my minds eye what I wanted to do to to make this scarf. Now I haven't done broomstick lace for a long time. Wasn't even sure where my broomstick was. So when I got up the next morning and decided that if I could find my stick I would give my idea a try. Well I was so shocked when the first box I looked in my stick was right on top like it was just waiting for me. So I figured I was meant to make this design. This took one skein of TLC essentials in Heather. I used my very old and very worn broomstick my DH set up for me years ago and a G/4.00mm hook. It measures 62 inches long not including the fringe. It is 5.75 inches wide. It has a lot of loft to it and is very warm.

I like it and am surprised that you said it was warm. I was give a broomstick years ago but have never tried it. Thanks for the inspiration, I just may have to try an open scarf for a change!
