Vanilla Cream Poncho

This is a hooded poncho I made for my dottie. The pattern is from the book - "Sweetened with Love - Baby wraps to crochet " . I made some adjustments to the "baby" pattern to fit my 7 yr old.

 

The pattern is easy to follow but all those cables and fpdc s eat up yarn skein after skein. My dottie loves it - especially the hood . The poncho is soft , warm and cozy.

 

I made a mistake in one of the cables, which is why you see the blue rose where there originally was none Here are the pictures :

That was a perfect spot for a mistake to happen and you covered it up nicley. I wouldn't have know about it if you didn't point it out. I love that style of poncho! Nicely done!
