Mom's Bday Scarf - Vintage Lace II (with mods)

I posted this in the MAM-along post # 113 (finishing modifications are posted there)

 

I used the Vintage Lace II pattern from freepatterns.com it's the last pattern on this page.

 

Mom's bday is coming up so I can't post this on my blog but I wanted to share it with all of you.

Scarf

Stats - 7 1/2 feet long (I forgot to stop lol)

Mohair and Jimbo's chophook (it's an old post but I'm pretty sure he's still making them - just email him from his blog - he'll be happy to hear from you!)

 

The swatch was made with mohair and a D hook. Never again will I use such a small hook with such a fuzzy yarn!

Beautiful scarf and what a lovely gift for your mother! Personally, I like a long scarf so I can wrap it around my neck a couple of times!
