Another Sweet Lorraine scarf

This is a great pattern. It's easy, works up quickly and looks nice - what more could a crocheter want? :) I made this for a friend who's husband had a brain-stem stroke and is in a skilled nursing facility. She sits with him all day and gets chilled after awhile. She didn't want a shawl so I made her a scarf she can wear while she's there. I gave it to her yesterday when I visited them and she loved it. It's made with Wendy Peter Pan double knit. Thanks for looking!

It is wonderful! Where did you find the pattern for the Sweet Lorraine Scarf?

Thank you so much for all your kind comments!

The pattern is in the Fall 2008 issue of Interweave Crochet. You can make a throw, stole, or a scarf from the pattern. It's another great pattern by Doris Chan! if you're on Ravelry, you can type in Sweet Lorraine in the search box and see quite a few in different yarns, sizes, etc.

I don't have that issue but I can ILL from my local library - I have an amazing librarian that seems to be able to get just about anything!

Right now I have checked out "Think Pink" pattern book that I think is new from Annies Attic.

It is really great and has a scarf in it that is similar to yours.:yarn
