Lisa Posted January 4, 2009 This is on the cover of "Blue Ribbon Afghans". I made it with Sage Mary, Dark Plum, Frosty Green, Aran, and I can't remember the name of the darker green. I used a bigger hook because I needed it to fit a queen-size bed and I also added a few rows to make it fit. I'm not fond of making little blocks but they went quick and you attach them together as you go... 9 to each big block. I would definitely make it again!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/pAuL_rOx/SageMaryBlueStaronbed.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/pAuL_rOx/SageMaryBlueStaronfloor.jpg

Lisa Posted January 5, 2009 Thanks everyone! I really enjoyed making this one! Beautiful job! You've given me some inspiration for my own bed. BTW- what pattern is the afghan in your avatar? You can find that pattern here: http://www.leisureartslibrary.com/cart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=89&idproduct=103 I've made that one several times with ww instead of baby yarn. I also added to it to make it bigger.
