Hello Lesley here I was wondering if any kind ladies or gentmen would have any easy afgan patterns suitable for charity purposes

On the Project Linus site, I adore the Sideways Shell...I've had great success with that one, and it's incredibly easy.

I have to agree with Pam....the sideways shell on Project Linus is great. I've made several blankets with it and it's perfect for beginners.

For whole cloth afghans, I use a similar pattern called The Brain Dead Afghan. It is easy and very quick. The most important thing is you can do it without even thinking! My favorite kind of afghan! I have made dozens of them!

This is the pattern I am using for my scrapghan right now. I love it as it works up fast and is very warm. I love ripple patterns but some of them are a little too "holey" for me. I have used the pattern for a baby afghan also and it is very pretty.
