re-dye?

Okay, I did my first kool aid dying this afternoon, and loved it. I divided my fisherman's wool into 5 hanks, and died three together. The first one in sucked up all the dye, and one of the hanks is noticeably much lighter than the other 2. Can you re-dye a hank? I don't see why not. Any advice?

TIA, Patty

Sure! I dyed my wool, and it came out much lighter than I wanted it. So I picked new colors and threw it back in a week later. It came out perfect :D

Here are dye and redye pics. I say just go for it, don't know of any tips to give you even having done it.

I agree with Anne. Go for it. You should get a darker color the second time. I have always noticed when trying to dye more then one hank in the same dye bath at the same time that the first one in gets the most.
