Clearance Pattern Books

Went to Michaels yesterday for Pound of Love on sale and wound up (in addition to the pound of love) with 7 booklets of patterns on clearance from 2 to 5 dollars each. I would have taken more but my budget wasn't prepared for this find :eek .

3 were for ponchos (I often use the patterns to convert to shawls and capes as well as ponchos). 1 Learn to bead crochet, 1 baby sets, 1 items for the home, and 1 for Grace yarn.

3 were ones I wanted for awhile, but wasn't ready to dish out full price, and 2 went home with DD who was kind enough to take me there.

They have a very large section (one whole side of an aisle I think) devoted to clearance and for those who also do other types of needlework, you should check your store because this place had knitting books, crewel kits, quilting books, embroidery stuff, etc...all in great condition and neatly organized in clearance.

Haha. I just went there today. I surprisingly didn't walk out with much. Just a couple of skeins. I didn't really need any, especially considering my boyfriend's grandparents gave me two one pounders, and ten smaller skeins for Christmas..

I guess like all the other ones it depends on which Michael's it is. Ours is in the heart of a city and a popular tourist area.
