Congratulations on the twins!

I started ds's longies, but I have to frog back up to the waist band and start again. Grrr. I'll do that tonight. Luckily they work up quickly when I make them right.

9 rows done on the pre school blanket (about 85 more to go!)

So far I got the two b-day gift throws done

I did 'samples' of the slippers for my neices (as soon as I hear from my sister on the right shade of blue I will get those done)

I started the pre school raffle blanket

I got sidetracked from my list and had to make a prayer shawl for my Godson and a baby blanket for a friend's soon to be born grandchild.

I also had a request for ferret toys that I made, and will mail tomorrow

I made a very long pink blanket for a friend that I will give her next time I see her

SO, I think I am doing ok for the first quarter .....

(I also made a sample project that I think came out ok. Now I need to order the right yarn and make up a bunch ---- more on that later)

I am making good progress. I now have 56 rows (out of 80 or 90) done on the V-stitch blanket I am working on. I may get it done this weekend - Saturday is my day to veg out and do my thing :D

I am happy with how much I have accomplished this quarter so far. I have managed to cross a lot off my list. I won't get everything done but I did have a pretty long list (that I also kept adding to) so I'll just move what is not complete onto the new list on the next thread that I'll start at the end of March.

Good work everyone on finishing up some projects!! :clap

hi, all-

sorry to have been amongst the missing for a while... I have been busy making comfortghan squares for a few of our c'ville friends.

I have 2 items remaining on my list:

1 afghan

1 tissuebox cover.

the afghan will be coming to school with me next week (I am volunteering to work at the book fair at my dks' elementary school, and will be there all week)

Then I will be doing the tissue box the following week, so I am still on target.

I have been peeking in, and you all should be very proud of your progress... :cheer:clap AWESOME JOB!! :clap:cheer

2 more rows done. I am hoping to do a whole bunch of rows this weekend. I will probably spend most of Sunday on the couch working on this preschool raffle gift.

I like the pattern, it is all shells in alternating blue and white rows. It is from Leisure Arts booklet "Afghans by the Pound" by Rita Weiss
