Shelle's Fall Poncho in Homespun Windsor.

Recommended Posts

Turned out pretty good. I like the way the Windsor kinda stripes a bit.:clap

Next one I think I am going to play with a bit. :think I would like it to be longer over the arms. We'll see though.

Hey Diane, one question,

Did you find the poncho made with homespun heavy to wear when you finished? My friend made a blanket with it and it has some weight to it. Just wondering.

It does have some weight to it, but, I don't find it to heavy to wear. I made one of Shelle's Shawlers and that took almost 7 skeins of homespun, that one is heavier then this, but not heavy aukward. I only used just a bit over 4 skeins and I think each skein is 6 or 7 oz.

Thank you Ladies. I am sure that I will be at another one in the new year.

I have not had much oppertunity to wear it lately. Maybe I will need to put it on around the house this winter and wear it.
