alpaca scarf, well, so far!

A friend asked me if I would crochet her a scarf with alpaca yarn. She found some she really liked and I have a yarn lady a few miles away who got the yarn and dyed it for us at no cost! She just wants some paper products that I can get from work, so that's a great deal! Well I've been doing dc's and working in the back stitch, and so far so good, until I ran out of yarn! What do you think so far?

I think you're off to a terrific start!

 

Are you going to have trouble getting more alpaca yarn and getting it dyed? It'd be a shame not to be able to finish the scarf.

thanks! and yes it may be a problem. I did hear back from my yarn lady and she said that it was hand spun and custom dyed, but we have to try. If the colors are a little off, well... I guess I just do what I can do. My friend is pretty easy going so I'm sure we'll figure something out.
