Socks for My Husband

It's an addiction with no end in sight. I can't stop making socks. This pair uses twice the yarn (four skeins of Berocco Ultra Alpaca Light) of a conventional pair of socks, and would be great for boots. They're too thick to fit in shoes -- the ribbing actually creates a double layer. The free pattern is here. Thanks for looking!

Wow, I draw the line when it comes to making my DH socks. There is no way I can make them for him because it is always me who has to tell him to trim his nails.

Crochet socks are always so bulky, and impossible to wear with shoes. Your socks look thin and hard to tell they are not knitted. I like these and will make them.:crocheting
