Stocking Cap

This is the Stocking Pattern from Crochetsal. I used red, white, and blue colors because we have been learning a lot about veterians at our homeschool co-op, this year. The hat ended up being a lot longer than the pattern called for. I did something wrong, but the longer it is the better.

 

The best thing about this cap, is that I made it for a White Elephant Party for our homeschool co-op moms. This hat was one of the few gifts that was stolen three times!

 

The yarn is I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby and the hat measures just over 37 inches long. My dd was not happy when she found out I was giving it away and has requested I make her one.

We grew up wearing those stocking hats! I haven't seen once since I was in grade school in the late 60s. I love it!
