This was an item that was requested by a friend who owns a local bar after seeing my Santa Purse one night - he wanted a 7 foot long Santa hat! :)

I used Patons Classic Wool, and Fun Fur - designed the pattern myself (it is currently in testing and should be ready today or tomorrow) - and he LOVED it!

He wore it all night the night I dropped it off - working behind the bar - everyone loved it and wanted one! :)

I love that!!!! As well as the purse!!!! In fact, last year Joann's had a Christmas stocking to hang that looked like a much smaller version that you made and I thought it would be really cool to have those instead of the traditional christmas stockings hanging from the mantel. But the pattern was in knitting and it was from Debbie Mumm. I dont know how to convert knitting to crocheting and keep the shape of a stocking cap. So, I never made it......But it is always in the back of my mind.......

Now, maybe I'll give it another try!

Thanks! He wanted it for just that reason, to wrap it around his neck as a scarf! :)

 

First I thought: 7 ft:eek

 

But then I thought: that is a cute idea! Wrap it around a neck like a scraf.

 

Final thought: I love it!:cheer
