Three hats

This was supposed to be a hat for a five-year-old boy, but as you see, I made it too big.

 

 

But I think this one fit.. I love the colours, and the yarn was soooo nice! Two strands of Baby silk, 80% alpaca and 20% silk. Soft!

I didn't use a pattern for any of these hats.. Just dc around.

 

And here's a hat I finished today, it has been laying around for a while... I think you crocheters can see why I'm not all happy with it?? It turned out too small, so I had to join some yarn and crochet a wider sc-edging... So if you look closely you can se a small seem-thing in the middle of the sc-edge. It's not THAT bad, so I'm sending this hat to my twinsister as a cheer-up-gift. She doesn't crochet, so I don't think she'll mind the mistake.

 

The pattern is from the book "crocheted accessories" by Helen Ardley.

Look at it this way, since the hat is too big for a 5 yr, you now have another cute hat. I think your sister will love her hat too!
