Made my daughter another hat...

So last weekend my daughter went to the movies with some friends and decided to wear a cream-colored cotton mesh cap I'd made her and she got a compliment for it. She wore a denim outfit and I told her I had a yarn that would match the outfit perfectly (P&C "Faded Denim"). I had trouble sleeping so I sat in bed and made it - had to frog most of it once because I didn't have enough to finish the last round (actually, I think it's supposed to be 2 rows of sc) - I'd already used part of the skein to make a soap saver, so I switched to a smaller hook. I still ran out about 5 stitches before completing the row but I figured that if I threaded a ribbon through and tied it in just the right place no one would notice...

wow thats a great looking hat I love the ribbon to cover but it looks classic like an ole time flapper hat. My grandmother has a pic where she's all dolled up and has a hat on shes so beautiful. Aww you did such a good job!
