Crocus scarf

Hi,

I just finished this. It's a Christmas gift for my neighbor. I have enough of this yummy yarn to make a hat too - if I can find a pattern.

The second pic will let you know just how soft and warm this scarf is. Tuss E. Cat won't leave it alone. :lol

**** Note to anyone making this one. It was very easy but I should add that I added one more repeat of the pattern to make it a little wider. My is 78" x 6" after blocking.

I love your scarf - can you share the pattern? I love making scarves :cheer:cheer

This is a free pattern on the web.

I found it through ravelry. Here's the address:

If you go to ravelry, look me up. I'm missmaxx there too.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the nice comments. The yarn is nice if I say so myself! :D

It's a rayon/linen/silk blend that I bought in a knitting (please forgive me!) :lol store near me. It's called Sagamore Hill, color "Waterlilly" by Autumn House Farm. Here's their address. http://www.autumnhousefarm.com/

It was a little pricey - compared to the big chain store (and they'd never stock this stuff!), but my neighbor is a very good friend and she's worth it. :hugI love the feel of it on the hook.

How Gorgeous!!! I love using great yarn for projects like that. I looked at your photo site & was amazed at the lovely Irish Table Topper that your made. Wow! That must have really taken some patience....
