Phoenix Mitts

I made these for my mom.

 

 

The Phoenix Mitts from the Crochet Liberation Front First Book Ever.

I made them with Knit Picks Shimmer in Spice.

I didn't get gauge so I had to another thumb gusset increase and some adjusting around the thumb as well.

 

Now I want to make myself a pair.

Oooh, those are *so* pretty! I have only a plain black ribbed pair, and they're great, warm, delightful, but not pretty. I like to sleep in mine, my wrists don't hurt then nor do my knuckles! Your mom will love these.
