Puff Scarf

I joined the puff scarf crochet along and this is what I ended up with. I really like the stitch and it makes a very warm and thick scarf. I used RH fleck in various colors that they now carry at wal-mart. The model was a little cranky, but, after negotioations, was willing to work for bacon!

I decided on the length I wanted my scarf and then made sure that it was a multiple of 2 plus 4 stitches. I chained 126, did one row of sc. one the next I did a sc in the first stitch and then did a puff stitch in every one across until the very last stitch and did another sc. I changed colors and did another row of sc, then the row of puff stitches and just keep repeating the sequence.

It is fun to read the crochet-along becaquse people are trying different things. some are doing a puff stitch then 2 or 3 dc in between them. That would certainly go quicker and I may experiment with my next one. Be sure to check out the original post on the crochet-along. that scarf has some interesting colors that I would never have thought to put together, but it is a beautiufl scarf!
