Crocheted Ugg Boots

Saw those at the store the other day.

, never heard of Uggs before this weekend. Grandson came for visit from NY. Brought his girlfriend with him. She had these lovely black boots on and when DD came over she said, "Uggs". I thought she was insulting her.

But she told grandson that is what she wants for Christmas. Now all she ever says is, Uggs, black, size 7....

Has anyone found a pattern to make these yet? I've seen patterns for baby ones, but no adult.

I didn't know what UGG boots where till yesterday we were in the mall and my mom shows me these boots and the price was $250 dollars canadian, she says that my sister owns a pair (she's high maintance) and I went to walmart and bought my dd a pair of nock offs for 30 dollars. They are nice, I may buy my self a cheap pair.
