Teal Scarf and Hat Set for SIL

Another Christmas gift for another SIL! This time I used Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" in Antique Teal. My first time trying this yarn, and I did enjoy its soft texture. The price was great, too, for the amount of yarn! The scarf is the One Skein Scarf (pdf pattern from Joanns) and the hat is a modified version of yarncat's Claire modern flapper hat. I chose to leave off the last pattern repeat row and do 4 rows of sc instead, to create a more snug fit for winter use. I also made a smaller version of the flower because my SIL is not a super flowery, frilly kind of gal. In fact, it's on a pin, so if she doesn't want to use the flower at all, she can just take it off!
