My Bookmark using Bullion Stitch

I am so proud of myself. I have mastered this stitch!!!!!

I used a regular #5 hook w/ #10 thread.

 

I need to google and see what a bullion hook is all about :)

It's gorgeous! I have no idea what a bullion stitch is, and it looks difficult, so I don't think I want to know!

Very pretty! I love the bullion stitch,its not hard to do just takes a little practice in getting used to it.

That is just lovely! I just for the first time last week used that stitch to complete a baby hat brim and loved it!

Thanks so much for looking and for the lovely compliments.

 

I showed it to my girlfriend and she wants a headband .....it would make a nice headband come to think of it.

I'll say you mastered the bullion! It's beautiful, MSK! And I am so impressed that you used a regular hook. I've tried bullion and the stitches farthest from the hook seem to grow hugely out of proportion. You've got this thing down! (Psssst... any tips?)
