I think this was an Annie's Attic free pattern a little while ago....

I'm pretty sure that's where I found it, anyway.

 

I made three - two for a couple little girls this year, and one for my niece. I'm saving the one for my niece, because she's not quite 2 and I think she'd get more enjoyment out of it next year.

 

I made the straps with a Susan Bates small French Knitter loom. I like the way the loom makes straps, so I didn't follow the pattern for that.

 

 

I think they'll like them!

I'm pleased with the way they turned out! Not bad for the price of 6 buttons! I got the yarn out of my stash!

I just finished one last week for my granddaughter but I put a jingle bell at the tip of his hat instead of the pompoms. Next one I make I think I'll do the p-p too cause yours looks so cute.

No, the eyes are just 12 mm blue buttons. I turned them around so that the backs were facing out, because I thought they looked better that way.
